The location was particularly good and fab for York, just off York city centre as well as York's oldest shopping street. Besides, I explored Quilt Museum and Gallery a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel. Had breakfast in the bar.

Convenient base for celebrating birthday with great wi-fi. Marvellous and fab location in York just off all the local shops and local ghost walk, and the centre of the city. Great choice for christmas.

The location was absolutely fabulous and ideal, walking distance to a museum and a castle. Besides, it was right at York downtown. The rooms were spotless and huge, had shower facilities and bath sheets. The bed was very clean & the staff was very hard working and amazingly helpful.

The staff was affable and superfriendly, offered welcoming services. Fairly quiet and fabulous rooms with 4 poster bed, felt like home. Having central heating, a multi-channel TV, and a coffee machine was very convenient. The location of the hotel was good and fab - not too far from The Bars.
